Sunrise Sunset was conceived to be a fun day on the water taking part in the sport we love whilst at the same time, with the aid of W4CR, raising funds for cancer research, eduction and support. Many venues and hundreds of sailors take part in the day, often suported by local windsurfing businesses. The 5:30 am start, the personal challenges, fun races, fancy dress, BBQ's and resulting friendly atmosphere all help make Sunrise Sunset such an enjoyable and worthwhile event. Entry

This year, we are making a small charge to enter Sunrise Sunset to cover the cost of event packs and running the event. This should mean that ALL the sponsorship money raised by participants will be available to help in the fight against cancer. The entry charge will be £5. We hope that you will appreciate the need for this charge and be happy to pay it

Event pack.

After you enter you will receive an event pack. It will include sponsor forms, leaflets, 2013 wristband and a limited edition 2013 100mm W4CR sticker. Sunrise Sunset is about raising money to help fund cancer research, support and education while having a fun day on the water, so please choose a personal challenge, enter this on your sponsor form and start getting sponsors. You can also set up a Just Giving page to get as much sponsorship as you can and so really help make a difference.

W4CR 2013 T Shirts

You can order a W4CR 2013 t-shirt for only £13.50 (inc. p&p) when you enter Sunrise Sunset. This special price is a ‘thank you’ for your commitment to W4CR. The shirts are of the same high quality as our much-sought-after 2012 shirts and feature another great design. They will be despatched in early April.
